What kind of audience are you aiming for?
According to a questionnaire completed by more than 2,400 visitors to Church of Fools during the interactive pilot project, interest came from both churchgoers (approx 73 per cent of visitors) and non-churchgoers (27 per cent). So thousands of Internet lurkers are experiencing church for the first time.
We are keen to reach what we have dubbed "Generation X-Box" the under 30s who are pursuing spirituality on the Internet, but may never darken the doors of their local church. At a time when traditional church is perceived as a place for old ladies, more than 50 per cent of our visitors have been under 30 years of age and 60 per cent are male.
